Plan Your Content
The first step in any design project is to organize your information.
Do not include too much information. Apply the basic rule: less is more. People don’t like to read flyers that have too much text. They’ll only see that it looks like a lot of work to sort through and move on. So, be clear and concise.
You can use bullet points but do not include too many of them. Use them as an easy-to-read and understand way to distribute your information. If you’re using them as a crutch because you don’t know how else to design a flyer, you need to rethink your strategy.

Add a Headline
Make sure that you have a catchy headline. The headline doesn’t necessarily have to be at the top of the page.
Find the best way to highlight the benefits. Tell your costumers why they should choose you.
Beat the competition
Tell your costumers why you are a better choice than your competitors. Be brief and concise.
Do not forget to check your spelling. Proofread your flyer because a misspelled word or transposed telephone number could make your flyer worthless.
Special Deals and Offers
If you have any specials or discounts, make that prominent in your flyer. It’s added incentive for the consumer to get in touch sooner rather than later.
Target your audience
Do some research to determine the demographics of your audience. Keep the message and tone in line with the kinds of customers you want to reach.
Do not forget to include your phone number, website, fb page etc. Your customers need to know where you are located, how to get in touch with you, what type of services you do or don’t provide and other pertinent information.
Include testimonials because they are a great way to communicate the value of your products.
Think as a customer
What you would want as a customer?
Remember that the final product should be a combination of good content and striking design, creating a clear, concise and effective flyer to boost your business.
